In 2006, Chapoton defined a class of Tamari intervals called "new intervals" in his enumeration of Tamari intervals, and he found that these new intervals are equi-enumerated with bipartite planar maps. We present here a direct bijection between these two classes of objects using a new object called "degree tree". Our bijection also gives an intuitive proof of an unpublished equidistribution result of some statistics on new intervals given by Chapoton and Fusy.

报告人简介:

After passing through École normale supérieur de Paris, Wenjie Fang obtained his PhD in Université Paris Diderot (now Université Paris Cité) and Université de Bordeaux on enumerative study of combinatorial maps under the direction of Guillaume Chapuy and Mireille Bousquet-Mélou. He has been postdoc at ENS de Lyon and TU Graz, working on various topics involving exact enumeration through bijections and asymptotic enumeration through analytic combinatorics. He is now a maître de conférences (equivalent to assistant professor) at LIGM, Université Gustave Eiffel, working mainly, but not only, in topics related to combinatorial maps and variants of the Tamari lattice.
